Founder & Managing Member

ShaVon Savage is an educator that continually invests in students, their families, and our communities.  She founded Mosaic to reinvest in education, focusing specifically on supporting school leaders and their teams in an often ignored area of school management: operations. 

 

With over 20 years of experience in the education sector, ShaVon has served as a teacher, school improvement coordinator, principal, deputy chief, deputy superintendent, and school law attorney during her career.  She has worked in urban, suburban, charter and university partnership schools, and has extensive experience supporting schools and their leadership teams.

 

ShaVon holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Penn State Abington, a M.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, a Politics Certificate from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, and earned her principal certification and Letter of Eligibility for Superintendency through coursework completed at Saint Joseph’s University School of Education and Human Development.

Operations Consultant

Aleshia's personal mission is to ensure that every child receives a quality education  no matter their economic background. She began her journey in education over a decade ago working across multiple independent and charter schools in New York City. She has served as an Administrative Manager, Operations Manager, and a Director of Operations. Before that she worked for Non-profit organizations and after-school programs, assisting with program creation.

 

Recently Aleshia and her family moved to Pennsylvania, where she continues to pursue her mission in the city Philadelphia. Aleshia is passionate about using her  years of Administrative, Operational, and Human Resource experience to build dynamic work environments that foster community, professional growth, and employee retention. Aleshia’s focus includes budget oversight, parent communication, supply procurement and team management.
